“Interiority” by Ann Huang (_poetry_)

Given by what? From whom?
Deliberation. Roommate.

Sun-day quietness,
big tea bag. Blow.

Pedestal in the suburbia,
Limelight outcry.

Listen to your voice
doing, loving courses.

Whose life are you in?
Whose love are you in?

More of that, lover.
Where is the talent walk,

walk, walk? Who are my
comedians, off stage?

Bring in my nostalgic
photographs and bury

the Puritan’s myths. There is more
than one life. It never ends.
