If you want icebergs and gentoos

I’ll give them to you –
Ushuaia, South Georgia, Oslo
to Vanuatu, Pisco, a piece of
South
 Sulawesi,
           Mt. Hagan,
              Waghi
                       Valley, wine hazy
hiking behind Rondon.

                                                                       What do you want?

take this one –
        a       spent shell
                                  on Bloody Ridge
                                                              a few niggling bits
                                                                                      of qiviat left on a ridge,
                                                                       East Greenland,
                                                                                Fuglesangen, throat
                                                                                                                                                           song and slippery
chicken on the end of a string down piranhas throat, the thing is you’ll have to take it all:

my concussion in rust,
a spot on ruddy carpet,
Soviet research era ship,
                                                                       I think
